Frozen blocks for Murray River Petfood

Challenge: Freeze Lamb MDM into consistent sized nude blocks for accurate recipe batching


Solution: Install HIVE® Freezing system for the production of nude block lamb MDM with consistent 11.75kg blocks 


Outcome: 27% reduction in freezing costs, improved quality, 50% reduction in block handling costs

Offal Chilling from 
37°C to -1°C

Challenge: Pork offal collection current reduces temperature from 37*C to 15*C in 8 hours. Shelf life of this product is <24hours. Need to improve quality of the raw material and increase shelf life


Solution: Install HIVE® Chilling system to reduce temperature from 37*C to -1*C in 40min.  processing 5MT per day for 12 months 


Outcome: Increase shelf life from 24hours to 21 days. Created manufacturing efficiency and flexibility without the pressure of shelf life and quality. Improved quality to end customer.
